There's a huge Christmas light display in Kearns called Christmas in Color. Last year was the first year it opened and it will continue this year along with a new location in Provo. The Kearns location is located right next to the Olympic Oval on 5662 Cougar Ln just down the street from Kearns High School. The Provo location is 4400 Center Street.

The light displays has over 1 million synchronized lights along a mile long winding road. The video above is one of 3 Tunnels. The display will run through December 31, 2016 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and from 5:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday-Saturday and is closed on Sunday.

Consider going in with another family. You can park at the Oval for free and then all pile in one car. There is no limit on the number of occupants per vehicle, but keep in mind that vehicle height is limited to 10 feet because of the tunnels. Due to the tight corning Buses, limos and trailers are prohibited.
When we went there were kids hanging out windows, looking out open sunroofs and in the bed of trucks. The display takes about 30 - 40 minutes to drive through and I highly suggest you TAKE YOUR TIME going through. There are lots of fun displays that are neat to look at with the different music.
Last, I have been asked multiple times if the Christmas in Color light display is worth the cost. For me this is one of those extravagant things that you have to judge on your own depending on your circumstances. I believe this display will get bigger and become a family tradition for many Utah families. It is spectacular. I personally was not disappointed that I shelled out the $20 and enjoyed the show very much! I am looking forward to next year's display.
