If you haven’t tried Gecko’s for Mexican yet, it’s safe to give them a try. The restaurant is clean and friendly and their food is pretty tasty! I liked that it is fresh mex, and not all heavy with cheese like that we see so often in Mexican cuisine. It does, however, lack the spicy factor, I found myself wishing for some heat. The conservative taste buds of my hubby found that appealing, so I’m giving it sixes.
Prices are affordable and the mild cuisine is nice if you are towing the kids. I had the Shrimp and Mango Taco with salad $8.19. Hubby went the traditional approach and had a Pulled Pork enchilada and Beef Taco $9.99. View Gecko’s menu here.
Bar Offers: Geckos does not serve alcohol beverages. Which was a downside for me as we do like to enjoy a beer with our taco’s.
There is a Buy 1 lunch or dinner entree in the Utah Happenings Book. If you don’t have a book, they are $19.99 and you will gain access to a digital coupon immediately after purchase. Click here for details>>
