Final price = $19.90 (this was my biggest expense, but the regular price for butter is over $4.50/lb! I was glad to pay less than half price!)
Bought 2 Quaker Protein Instant Oatmeal, 8 packets $2.00 (this is NOT a mega event item. This is a sale price, and a deal that has been good going on 3 weeks now)

My grand total for everything was $36.50 before taxes.
My total before Mega Event savings (for buying in increments of 10 participating items), coupon savings, and Catalina coupons would have been a whopping $98.25! And that's at sale prices (including the butter at $2.49)! If we were looking in perspective of retail price- it would be MUCH higher than that.

I’m new to Utah and am amazed at how expensive butter is here. Is $1.99/lb the cheapest I can expect to find it, even through the holiday baking season?
Yes, this is the cheapest per pound you will find on butter. The only way you will be able to possibly get a cheaper price is if you find a sale for Challenge Butter at $2.50/lb or less. There is almost always a $1/1 Challenge Butter Product printable coupon available this time of year, but then you’ll be limited to how many coupons you can get, since there is a 2 print per computer limit. That might make “stocking up” hard for some people.
I was just telling hubby I wanted to go back and get more butter, that is the cheapest I have seen it I think ever, and especially price without having to use a coupon!
