Ranch Fall Fest (Syracuse) – Oct 4 from 11-3 pm at Fielding Garr Ranch; food trucks, pumpkin decorating, trick or treating, pioneer games and more
Scarecrow Festival (Park City) Oct 4 at McPolin Farm; $50 ticket includes pumpkin painting, face painting, cookies and cider from 2-4 pm; scarecrows are left on display until late October
Witchfest (West Jordan) – runs thru Oct 31 at Gardner Village; free witch displays
Snowbird Oktoberfest Oktoberfest at Snowbird is a family-friendly affair with activities, food, and, of course, brews for days — weeks actually. The highly-anticipated festival begins Aug 9 and lasts through mid-October, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, along with Labor Day.
