Set the dates. Here's a nice healthy list of Utah events, fairs, festivals and fun going on around Utah for the Month of June. If you are looking for something new to do make sure to take a look. June offers ideal weather for outdoor fun — warm days, long daylight, and plenty of festivals and family activities before the intense summer heat hits.
Early June
June 2–6: SoJo Summerfest — South Jordan’s big community celebration with a carnival, parade, kite festival, chalk art, live music, and fireworks.
June 5–6: Utah Brazilian Food Festival – Festa Junina — Downtown Salt Lake City area with authentic Brazilian food, music, and cultural performances.
June 6: Eagle Mountain Derby — Fun soapbox-style derby race featuring creative homemade vehicles and family entertainment.
Saturday, June 6: Utah Asian Festival Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City (11 AM–10 PM) offers an exciting day of Asian cuisine, cultural performances, vendors, and family-friendly fun. Free admission.
Saturday, June 6: Utah Free Fishing Day No fishing license needed statewide! A perfect family day to hit lakes, reservoirs, and streams (all other rules apply).

June 12–14: Utah Scottish Festival & Highland Games Utah State Fairpark hosts Highland athletics, bagpipes, dancing, clan tents, and Scottish culture.
June 12–13: Fork Fest American Fork fills with live music and local artist energy.

Mid June
June 13–21: Strawberry Days Pleasant Grove celebrates Utah’s oldest community festival with a rodeo, parade, strawberries & cream, carnival rides, and family activities.
June 18–21: Utah Arts Festival (50th Anniversary!) Library Square in Downtown SLC turns into a huge celebration of visual arts, live music, films, poetry, kids’ activities, and great food.
June 19–21: Eyes to the Sky Balloon Festival Salina hosts colorful hot air balloon launches, glows, chalk art, inflatables, and family fun in central Utah.
Late June
June 21–27: Lehi Round Up & Rodeo Lehi delivers PRCA rodeo action, parades, market, and western fun.
June 25–27: Taylorsville Dayzz (30th Anniversary) Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville features a big parade, carnival rides, concerts, petting zoo, 5K, fireworks, and more.
June 26–27: Chalk It Up Festival Lehi’s massive chalk art event brings over 100 artists creating giant sidewalk murals.

June 26–28: Panguitch Valley Balloon Rally Panguitch (near Bryce Canyon) offers hot air balloon launches, evening glows, 5K, vendors, and southern Utah charm.
June 26–28: Bryce Canyon Astronomy Festival Stargazing, astronomy programs, and night sky activities in one of Utah’s most beautiful parks.

All Month Long
Markets — Weekly markets in Downtown SLC (Pioneer Park), Sugar House, Park City Silly Market and many other cities for fresh produce, local goods, and live music.
Splash Pads & Water Play — Free and low-cost spots to cool off with the kids.
Free Outdoor Concerts & Movies in the Park — Evening music and family-friendly film screenings across the state.
National Parks & Hiking — Ideal conditions for Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, and Capitol Reef. Early June wildflowers in Albion Basin are spectacular.
Water Activities — Provo River rafting, Bear Lake, Antelope Island, and local reservoirs.
