Salt Lake City: The Humane Society of Utah is celebrating World Spay Day Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016, by giving away 100 Free Cat Spay/Neuter Vouchers at the HSU Clinic located at 4242 S 300 W. in Murray, Utah. Vouchers will be given on a first come, first served basis beginning at 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.; limit one voucher per household.
Cats must be between four months to four years of age that weigh at least 2 lbs. with current vaccinations. Proof of current cat vaccinations must be provided before an appointment may be scheduled. If a cat is not current, vaccinations must be received two weeks before surgery. Surgery appointments may be made after a voucher is received.
Note that owners do not need to bring their cat with them to receive a voucher and surgeries will not be performed on that day.
