Summer outdoor concert series in Utah are a wonderful way to pack up a blanket, grab some snacks, and enjoy incredible local and national talent under the stars. Many parks, resorts, and community centers host these performances completely free or for a small discount. Free Concerts in Salt Lake City
Gallivan Center Lunch Bunch Concerts: Celebrate good local music and dancing at the Gallivan Center's FREE Excellence in the Community Concerts and Summer Dance Nights running from June into September. No tickets required, just show up.
Concerts in the Park at Brigham Young Historic Park: Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout June, July, and August.
Murray City Arts in the Park: Free lunch concerts are held every Tuesday at noon in Murray Park Pavilion #5 beginning in June and ending in August. Bring your sack lunch and enjoy an hour of entertainment. Murray Park also hosts a free children matinees every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in Murray Park Pavilion #5. Also, free Family Night concerts are held on the 2nd Mondays in June-September at the Heritage Center Outdoor Plaza.
Utah Cultural Celebration Center inWest Valley: Located in West Valley City, this beautiful community hub hosts the vibrant outdoor WorldStage! Summer Concert Series on select evenings. Attendees can enjoy an incredible mix of free cultural musical performances, local ethnic dance groups, and community celebrations under the stars. West Jordan: Check the Viridian Event Center calendar for free community band concerts, cultural celebrations, and special events hosted throughout the year to honor veterans and celebrate local talent.

SoJo South Jordan Country Fest: Held annually in June at City Park (2200 W 10830 S). Check the city's seasonal schedule for free live country music concerts, activities, and community entertainment that kick off the festival.
Draper Amphitheater: Tucked against the hillside in Draper, this gorgeous open-air venue hosts a fantastic mix of ticketed summer concerts, community theater productions, and movie nights. Park City: Newark Amphitheater. These free community concerts take place on select Thursday evenings throughout the summer at the Newpark Amphitheater, featuring national, regional, and local touring acts in a beautiful outdoor forum environment. Bring a blanket, a picnic, and your favorite beverages to enjoy the music with friends and neighbors.

Orem: Scera Shell Outdoor Theatre: Scera Shell hosts a wonderful variety of outdoor summer entertainment. They offer free community firesides and cultural events on select Sunday evenings throughout the season, alongside a packed lineup of big-name ticketed concerts, musical theater productions, and outdoor movie nights for a fee. American Fork: Free concerts at the American Fork Amphitheater are held on select Monday evenings throughout June and July. Check the city's seasonal calendar for this year's lineup of local acoustic, folk, and rock performers.
Provo Rooftop Concerts: This massively popular downtown series is currently on hiatus, though city leaders are working on plans to revive the rooftop tradition. Check their official channels for updates on its return.
Ogden Amphitheater: The Junction City Music Series features completely FREE live music concerts every Wednesday evening at 6:00 PM throughout the summer. These are all-ages, family-friendly shows, so feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and the kids.
Note: While community events like the Wednesday series are free, the amphitheater also hosts major ticketed national touring series during the summer, such as the popular Ogden Twilight concerts, which do require paid tickets in advance.
Canyons Resort Concerts: The Canyons Village Concert Series offers free outdoor summer concerts on select evenings kicking off in July. Enjoy incredible national and local alpine talent under the stars. Admission is free and open to the public, but public transit or carpooling is highly recommended as resort parking fills up quickly. Deer Valley Summer Concerts: Free community concerts are held on select Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the Snow Park Amphitheater during the mid-summer months. Pack a picnic, bring a blanket, and enjoy local acoustic, folk, and rock talent on the lawn.
Logan Tabernacle Summer Concerts: These free, 45-minute lunchtime concerts are held Monday through Friday at 12:00 Noon throughout the summer season. They feature a wonderful mix of local and guest artists performing everything from classical organ music to vocal and instrumental ensembles.
Bountiful Concerts in the Park: Free community concerts are held on most Friday nights at 7:00 PM at Bountiful City Park during the summer months. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy great local music under the trees.
Soda Row Daybreak Summer Concerts: Enjoy free live music every Friday and Saturday night from 8:00 to 10:00 PM at Soda Row in Daybreak (South Jordan). This popular community series runs throughout the summer season from May through September.

Twilight Concert Series: The Salt Lake City Twilight Concert Series is held at Pioneer Park during the summer months. This popular series brings top-tier national touring acts to downtown Salt Lake City. Tickets are required and vary in price, with discounted early-bird options usually available online in advance.
Red Butte Gardens: Located in Salt Lake City, the Red Butte Garden Outdoor Concert Series brings a phenomenal lineup of world-class artists to the foothills.

Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater: (Formerly USANA Amphitheatre): Located in West Valley City, this massive outdoor venue is Utahโs premier destination for major national touring rock, country, and pop superstars. Thanksgiving Point: Enjoy an unforgettable evening under the stars at the Ashton Gardens Waterfall Amphitheatre in Lehi. They host incredible signature outdoor events throughout the warmer months, including the highly anticipated annual outdoor summer performance by the Utah Symphony.
2026 Highlight: Catch the Utah Symphony's special America 250 outdoor celebration concert here on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, featuring guest violinist Jenny Oaks Baker, massive landmark light installations, and a big fireworks finale. Paid tickets are required in advance.
Tuacahn Amphitheatre: Located in Ivins (near St. George), Tuacahn features a spectacular 1,500-seat outdoor theater framed by towering red rock canyon walls.
